Energy Average is a web site, which allows UK households to compare how much gas and electricity their home is using against similar homes both nationally and locally. Before launching the site fully to the public, we aim to populate the database with some gas and electricity data from all across the UK.

Prize Draw Rules
1. Entry to the competition is restricted to one entry for each valid household gas or electricity bill record entered.
2. All gas and / or electricity bill records entered must have a bill end date after 1st January 2009 to be valid.
3. All gas and / or electricity bill records entered must include the correct usage and cost data from the original bill to be valid.
4. Duplicate and / or invalid entries will be disqualified.
5. Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified.
6. Competition is open to UK residents only and excludes employees of Ascend Online Media Limited and their immediate families.
7. Prize can only be sent to a valid UK address.
8. Winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries.
9. Winner will be contacted via the e-mail address used to signup on the EnergyAverage.co.uk web site.
10. Winner will be asked to provide a scanned or photocopied copy of the original gas or electricity bill as proof of valid entry.
11. If the winner can not provide a copy of this bill within 14 days, or the entry is ruled invalid, a new winner will be drawn at random.
12. The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
13. The competition will run from 5th March 2010 until 31st March 2010.
